Acorn Valley provides Chinese and English enrichment programmes for children.
We use proprietary materials for both programmes. Children learn through our Flexi Flash hands-on learning method (games and flashcards), and supported by SuperMemo home revision software.
For Chinese, we apply the `Bottom-up Character-based’ approach. We also do science experiments, paper art, and current issues discussion. We teach HanYu PinYin and keyboarding skill.
For English, we apply the Communicative Language Approach, Total Physical Response (TPR), singing, puppetry and games and activities-based learning.
